Test and Quiz Corrections
Students have the opportunity to correct all tests and quizzes unless they are told otherwise. Corrections are not mandatory but highly encouraged. Students can earn half of their points missed by following the following steps closely:
1. Write your name and title of the quiz on a piece of notebook paper.
2. For any question you wish to correct, you must write that question number and the correct answer next to it.
3. All questions, even multiple choice, must include a detailed explanation to receive credit. The explanation must prove to me that you have corrected your mistake because you understand the content.
4. Staple the notebook paper to the original quiz and turn them into the correct tray. Corrections are due within a week of the graded test or quiz being returned to students.
*** Vocabulary quizzes require a slightly different procedure: (1) write the correct term, (2) write the definition of that term, and (3) use the term in a sentence to prove that you understand the meaning of that term.
